Borehamwood (sometimes referred to as Boreham Wood) is a town in southern Hertfordshire Hertfordshire (pronounced /ˈhɑrfərdʃər/ or /ˈhɑrtfərdʃɪər/ ), abbreviated Herts, is a ceremonial and non-metropolitan county in the East region of England. The county town is Hertford, situated 16 miles (26 km) north of London London is the capital of England and the United Kingdom. It is the UK's largest and most populous metropolitan area and the largest urban zone in the European Union by most measures.[citation needed]. It has a population of 28,546.[1] It is part of the borough A borough is an administrative division in various countries.
