Mark Verstegen is the President and Founder of Athletes’ Performance. He serves as the Director of Performance for the NFL Players Association[1][2], and is an athletic coach for the German national football team[3].

He directs a team of performance specialists and nutritionists to train athletes including football player Mia Hamm; baseball's Nomar Garciaparra, Roberto Alomar and Vernon Wells Vernon Wells III is a Major League Baseball player for the Toronto Blue Jays. Wells has appeared on two All-Star teams in his career, been awarded three Gold Glove Awards, and one Silver Slugger Award; WTA tennis players Meghann Shaughnessy and Mary Pierce; golfers Jim Carter and Billy Mayfair William Fred Mayfair is an American PGA Tour golfer; NFL veteran Trace Armstrong; hockey goalie Nikolai Khabibulin; and NBA forward Rick Fox.
