If I can ski blues at Snoqualmie Pass in Washington, should I stay to green slopes at Whistler?
Q. I just started skiing in February however I picked it up extremely fast and I was on the lift the first day without a lesson. Currently I carefully ski blue slopes at Snoqualmie Central and I am afraid that Whistler blue slopes will be much harder and I should stick to green slopes, is this true?

A. You will be fine. Resorts in North America do their best to make green and blue runs standardised. If you can ski blue at Snoqalmie, you can ski one at Whistler...which i ski all the time. If you want to be cautious ski Whistler Blue runs when it has been recently groomed, look for wide runs and keep to green runs if it is icey (early in the day as it moves to spring). Start on a green and you'll be skiing Blue runs on the next. good luck
