How will I find a low-cost alcohol rehab in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey?
Q. My best friend is a self-confessed alcohol dependent for over two years now. He really wants to change for the better and we both agreed that he should enter a rehab center. The catch is that he doesn't have the money and so do I. Does anyone know of an affordable one?

A. Define 'affordable', I doubt there will be any that fall into your range as 'rehab' is an optional treatment, not a required thing. Not trying to sound harsh as we all screw up but, people that get addicted to whatever substance, made the CHOICE to start it knowing that the possibility of addiction exists. Therefore rehab is not something 'medically necessary', thus the reason many insurances do not cover it, and rightly so in my opinion. Many people have the mistaken idea that they can just check into rehab and all their problems will go away, no more cravings, no more stress, ect ect, just take some pill and follow some diet and no more addiction. When you get back into real life around those same things/people/circumstanc es that… [cont.]

What is the best way to get in to and out of New York City on a Friday night?
Q. So I live in a small town in north New Jersey (Woodcliff Lake) and theres a band playing in Brooklyn I want to see. Normally this would be no problem, have a friend with a car, drive in, drive out. But by some twist of fate they're all busy or hate the band or wrapped their Camry's around telephone poles. So here's the question: If I want to be getting off the Myrtle Ave. stop of the JMZ line in brooklyn at 9, what do I need to do? After the show, how the hell do I get back home if it lets out at... one-ish? Finally, if there's any really helpful person out there, is there some kind of "plan my transit for me" website? Google Maps is great for directions and all but that needs me a car.

A. Try the NYC transit authority website. This covers all METRO areas, including NJ- I have used it with success in the past- By the way, my prom was at the Woodcliff Lake Hilton!!! Right near Tice Farms!!!
