I need to be able to run 5 miles by august any training suggestions?
Q. ok so at this point i can run about a mile but it takes me about 9-10 minutes. i need to be able to run 5 miles around 7 minutes each. any suggestions on how to train would be great! thanks(:

A. I think the only was is to keep running most days. Run the same route every time, keep a stop watch with you and try to be you time be a few seconds each time. don't just time your whole run, but check time at certain check points along the way... like trees and posts on the way and you will tell as you go round how you are doing ...

A. Hi! As I'm sure you have already discovered, Helsinki is an incredibly expensive place for accomodation. I used to stay at a great little (cheap) hotel when I went there on business but it closed this year. Apartments are dear and they will want to charge you for a whole week which will be 300- 500. Try this site - I havn't actually used it myself but it might suit. It's a kind of family run, small scale Travelodge. You book on the internet and the earlier you book, the cheaper the prices. They don't have a reception or anything - its all done by key codes etc. They have small kitchens and each can accomodate 4 adults. A. I think it will be up to your management if you need to work. But I think the holiday does not apply to call centers or offshore service providers since they handle U.S accounts. Anyway, you are entitled for a double pay if you work on holidays.

A. From the department of homeland security website it says as of February 2008 you need a birth certificate (or some other proof of citenship). A driver's license is not considered adequate documentation anymore. In the future, some states will increase their requirement for drivers licenses so that you need to prove citizinship. After that point, the drivers license will be adequate. I would apply for a passport anyway. It may not come in time, but you might as well avoid the rush next year. You will need passports as of June 2009 anyway, so there is no point in not applying for one.

A. Getting ripped is more than just lifting weights, you need to lift and you need to lose body fat. The muscle provides the bulk, the lower body fat allows people to see the muscles. If you go on an aggressive programme to lose weight and gain muscle, you might be able to lose about 30 pounds in that time. This doesn't mean you'll get ripped, you'll need to drop to at least 10% bf from where you are before you can be considered "ripped".
