When checking in to the Bellagio (standard deluxe room) are any standards more desirable than others?
Q. For instance, rennovated, higher up, quiet, etc.
Asked by goldie - Mon Jun 1 17:41:57 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Not really... Most of the rooms at the Bellagio just break down to the view you get. The lake/fountain views rooms are a little pricier then the regualr rooms, but the actual rooms themselves are no better--just the view. If you "tip" the desk clerk 20$, you can probably get upgraded to the fountain view room. And obviously there are tons of suites at the bellagio, but these are alot more expensive then standard rooms.

A. I would definitely recommend that you book a room or suite at Bellgaio which overlooks the Strip, because the room would also look out over Bellagio's Lago di Como so you could also watch the fountain show. Here is my run-down on Bellagio: Location: Bellagio is located in the center of the Strip, so you can easily walk or take a taxi, bus, or the Las Vegas monorail to access everything else. Atmosphere: Bellagio has a more upscale atmosphere, but is very inviting to all its guests. Bellagio carries more of an Italian theme throughout the resort, so tends to have a more romantic appeal to it. Accommodations: Bellagio offers upscale rooms and suites that are elegantly appointed. The staff is very accommodating and the room service is… [cont.]

A. For free you can look at the Dale Chihuly Glass Flower Ceiling in the lobby and watch the water show of the fountains in front of the hotel. You can look at the ever changing exhibit in the conservatory and drool over the world's largest chocolate fountain. You can gamble, play in one of the nicest poker rooms in town. If you have lots of money, you can eat in one of the expensive restaurants and shop in the expensive designer boutiques and go see the Cirque du Soleil show O and go clubbing at the Bank and Caramel.

A. Except for a tear in the speaker cover on the cabinet door it was beautiful ; Foyer with powder room , Living room & seperate bedroom , both with TV , Two baths , one with shower the other with tub , both with TVs . The best part is turning on the radio and listening to the music as you watch the Fountains you view from your floor to ceiling windows in both rooms & seeing the Eiffel Tower lit at night across the street. Have the concierge desk make your dinner reservations , they treated us like we were high rollers though we hardly gamble . Order flowers and place them in the living room , a nice romantic touch .

Is Steve Wynn ever going to consider buying back The Bellagio or The Mirage?
Q. These hotels were one of his most successful projects.
Asked by Ode to the 90's - Mon Mar 1 16:13:38 2010 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. When MGM Mirage sold Treasure Island several reporters asked them that question. He was pretty political in saying that "nothing is out of the question". But Bellagio is still by far the peak earning casino in the MGM Mirage stable. It out earns mgm grand both in revenue and in earnings (including the new Signature Towers). The corporation designed ARIA so that it would complement Bellagio with easy passage back and forth. === The MIRAGE is still making excellent money after 20 years. Mandalay Bay is much newer, and the additional "THE Hotel" was supposed to make it a big moneymaker. But MB was severely impacted by the drop in convention business. In 2008 Mirage had 80% of the total revenue of MB, and in 2009 it went up to 86%. And… [cont.]

A. The B is closer to Shelly, but seems to be a modified version of it. It might even be close to Snell Roundhand. The rest of the text is just Garamond that has been tracked to be spaced apart.

A. To amend the first poster's answer - they also post security at the elevators - especially at night and on weekends, and they make sure everyone has a room key in hand to get into the elevator, so they'll notice if you ask for six room keys.

Best way to get from Venetian to Bellagio?
Q. I'd love to indulge in the Bellagio buffet and will be staying at the Venetian. Considering the intense summer heat, what would be the easiest way to get to the Bellagio from the Venetian? The monorail looks like it would be $10 for a round-trip and not the most convenient station locations, but I'm not sure how long it would take by just walking or how much a taxi might cost. Any help?
Asked by A - Tue May 26 16:18:04 2009 - - 7 Answers - 0 Comments

A. easiest way is to cross the street and walk down the block. if this does not work, see if they have a shuttle. many have them or a cab will be the same as the 10 momorail that is very unreliable.

How much should I expect to pay to visit the lake district (Lake Como, Bellagio etc) in Italy?
Q. Not looking for five-star, not looking for budget either. Something middle of the road. Any suggestions on lodging appreciated.
Asked by curious - Tue Jan 3 16:50:17 2006 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Its going to be a lot, since that area is ususally pretty costly. Here is what you should do, go to Expedia.com and look for hotels. I would stay in Bellagio since its bigger and closer, and will give you a better choice of hotels. You didnt specify dates so I cant really help you there. Just have a look, its usually the cheapest price out there. Keep in mind that area is spendy, expect to pay like 3-5 euro for a small coffee (like an espresso) and then 3-4 euro for a bottle of water. If you go to the grocery stores instead of bars you will save a lot.
