My home was built in 1982, how do I tell what wire it was wired with 60c or 90c wire?
Q. I want to add a replacement light in the family room and the box says it's rated for 90c wiring. It also says most homes built before 1985 are rated for 60c wire. How do I tell ? and If this room is not used much, is it safe to wire the light anyway?

A. My husbands a master electrician and he said, it's safe to wire the light anyway as long as you dont exceed the ampage rating.

How are tunnels built that go through a mountain?
Q. How are tunnels built today that go through a mountain like for a train? Are they mainly blasted with small explosives or are they drilled and scraped out?

A. tunnel boring machines! these machines cut through the rock slowly, passing bored materials back, and build the tunnel themselves as they go along. they are very long and essentially the front sections build the tunnel while the back sections move along it and use it's structure as a way of pushing the cutting disk forward. lots more info on wikipedia :).
