They both like football, neither has won a World Cup but both have won a European Championship. They are both used to being small neighbors of Germany with relatively large coastlines. They are both very progressive countries with very democratic tendencies. The biggest difference is probably that the Danes speak Danish and the Dutch speak Dutch... Obviously. If anything, the Danes are probably more Scandinavian (Dutch are NOT Scandinavian) while the Dutch have historically been more influenced by the French and the British.
