A. Depends how much they need it. For instance, How much is a 1740 Wedgewood Vase? Answer: exactly how much the other person is willing to pay. You could always follow up with a "how was that" Email if they don't respond, and work downwards, you can't work upwards.

A. You will save yourself a ton of money if you just come up with your own creative name and register it yourself. I own Aquaticpc.com and Foamwire.com and I only pay $10 a year upkeep. I don't see .in on go daddy.com but they could probably direct you to the right people. Good luck

Q. What is the procedure for the sale of an internet domain name?

A. Always remember that the current domain name resale market is much weaker than it was just a couple of years ago, at the height of the Dot-com bubble. Back then, if you owned a decent domain name, you could generally sit back and wait for the buyers to come to you. Nowadays, you need to be much more proactive in your approach if you want to successfully sell your domain name(s). At the same time, never discount the possibility of "walk-in" buyers; in other words, potential buyers coming across your domain name during a search, and enquiring about its availability. To this end, it's essential that you keep your Whois record (the record of ownership of your domain name) updated at all times, and free from errors. You just never… [cont.]

What is the best place to list my domain names for sale?
Q. I am just starting in buying and selling premium domain names. I was wondering what brokers or websites I can more likely sell a high value domain on? ($5,000-$1,000,000 value). For example, I list good domains on eBay for a great price and they do not sell. What would be another great option? Thanks.
Asked by Answer Man - Wed Jan 28 23:22:31 2009 - - 2 Answers - Comments

A. If you want maximum $$ list with Sedo or submit to a Moniker auction. Could take a while to sell but best bet for top dollar for real premium names. If you are in a hurry to sell try EBay or a domain name forum where resellers hangout like DNForum, NamePros, NameMatters. You are unlikely to get the best price at these venues but they should result in a quick sale if price is flexible. Check out Afternic and TDNam. There are hundreds of domain name sales pages on the web that will accept your listing, many for free. You could attempt to sell directly to an end user by contacting businesses/individuals that might want to use the name. Time consuming, but end user sales are nearly always the best way to get top dollar. Best way to sell… [cont.]

A. I buy and sell regularly. I find I buy about three domain names for every one I sell. I try to buy from the lowest cost registrar and sell on Ebay. I make about $20 per sale so its not a full time job. The registrar I use is they are the cheapest and have for sale pages for free.

How to get "Domain for sale" icon on domaintools.com?
Q. I wonder how do you get that "Domain for sale" green icon on domaintools.com? Sometimes when you type a domain name which is currently for sale you see that green icon and there is this sentence: "The owner of the domain you are researching has it listed for sale." Below then there is a link to which leads you to SEDO or any other domain auction site. I listed my domain in SEDO but when I go to domaintools.com there is not that green icon. How do I get it?
Asked by Krakatao - Mon May 17 17:56:54 2010 - - 1 Answers - Comments

A. First, You can transfer your domain to registrar and choose free "domain for sale" page. (after you successfully transfer, you'll find this in domain control panel.) Once that is selected then your domain will start showing "domain for sale" on domaintools.com and other such whois sites.
