How can I go sledding this winter?
Q. My family and I are dreaming of going sledding, but we don't know where to rent and where to find a safe place to sled. We want to go to a hill or mountain, but it didn't snow in our town at all (even if it did, there would be no hills), so we can't just go and sled down the street. Do you have any ideas of where and how to sled near Fair Lawn, NJ? (that's upper New Jersey, near Manhattan)

A. I have heard awesome things about Ritchies Music Store. It's in Landing, NJ (Morris County). It's either Ritchie or Ritchie's. Not sure if they do violin work, but they have great keyboards, clarinets, & guitars.

A. Note that Bloomberg was nowhere near this car when this happened, and my morning paper reported one of the criminals has been caught. Infact, Bloomberg is accompanied by a security detail at all times, and at public events it is enlarged. He even had a couple of security types hanging in the background when I had lunch with him several years ago.

A. Yes you can. Just search for the website to the theatre you want to go to. If it's part of a chain like Regal then go to the chain's website. Other than that there are many many ticket sites that sell movie tickets, but you gotta search for them. :)

commuting to NYC from NJ and back.?
Q. So i just moved to New Jersey. (fair lawn, NJ) I wanna visit the new york city at night. many people told me that i shouldn't drive there (too expensive to park, traffic, ...) should i take the bus? is it safe to take it at night? and do they have buses from GWB station to fair lawn late at night? A. My friend, if you want to save money on tolls and parking, I would recommend taking the bus. It safe and the cheapest way to travel to and from New York City. Since, you're coming from Fair Lawn, you can take NJ Transit bus route 164 to and from the Port Authority Bus Terminal or the the the NJ Transit commuter rail from either Broadway or Redburn on the Bergen County-Main Line/Port Jervis Line to either Secaucus Junction or Hoboken. If you get off at Secaucus Junction, you can transfer to any eastbound NJ Transit train to Penn Station New York. If you get off at Hoboken Terminal, you have connection to the PATH trains. Good luck

Private schools in New Jersey?
Q. I need a private school in New Jersey. I need it for 8th grade, and up. 6th - 12th or 1 - 12th is fine. I live in Fair Lawn, in Bergen County. The closer, the better. But a 20 minute trip won't hurt. Also, my family might move, so just give me some nice ones in NJ. But the town it's in needs to be a nice area, with very nice houses. Nothing too cheap. Since we might move there, of course. We want a nice house, not over 2 or 3 millon. Our range is from about 700 + so a town that will have houses that are very posh and in that price range. A. The Dwight-englewood School is actually a good bet. I don't know too much about it, but my friend attended school there and said it was a great experience with nurturing teachers and a great educational program. Saddle River (Day School) is also a good bet. It is in a better neighborhood and is a well-known educational institute. The best and most fun school you will find, however, is Lawrenceville. It is such a great academy. I spent a few days there visiting my friends and attended school there for a semester. A. My friend, the best way to get from JFK to Fair Lawn, NJ is by public transit. Step 1: take the Airtrain from the terminal to Jamaica Station. Please listen for the announcement "Station D: Jamaica Station." Step 2: at Jamaica Station, purchase a $5 Metro Card from the Metro Card Vending Machine, and exit the Airtrain system into Jamaica Station. The $5 fare will be deducted from the Metro Card, when exiting the Airtrain system at Jamaica Station. Step 3: Once thought turnstile (faregate), follow the directional signs to the Long Island Railroad.
