What can i do to make my football team more pumped for a game?
Q. My football team has alot of talent, but lately we just dont have the right attitude. We need to get more intense, and pumped. We go straight from stretched and going over plays to the start of the game with no attitude change. Its truly disgusting me. I want to make my teamates more pumped. Any advice?

How long will it be before the Australian football/soccer team will be a very good and respected team?

A. How about the Notre Dame Fighting Irish? They have a ton of history. Their all time record is 825a 278a 42. They don't have a great team now, but they are rebuilding. You will avoid the bandwagon label if your worried about that. You can't get much more historic than Notre Dame football.

A. I would advertise in local clubs/societies and work. Speak to colleagues and friends and see ho would be interested in joining in. Ask for sponsorship and financial assistance from your employer or a local employer - they could purchase kits and get their name advertiosed in return. Speak to local leisure complexes about hiring pitches and the cost. Finally I would google serach "amateur football competition" and see if you get any sites looking for teams to participate. Good luck and by the way I am looking to play football on Sundays and live fairly near Banbury so give me a shout if you do this as I might be your first "signing"!

A. I'd say the Titans are your best pick, they are playing KC and lets be honest KC isnt a good team at all this season, and the Titans are undefeated. The Vikings and the Bears you just never know with them how they are gonna play. The Texans arent all that great of a team the Lions could beat them The Browns are starting to pick up their game a bit, and if they play like they did Monday night they could definetly beat the Skins. The Steelers havent looked 100% all there this season, and the Bengals are out for a win right now, they could possibly pull it off.

Improve defence for a ladies football team playing in a league?
Q. Any tips on how my sister can improve her ladies football team's defence? They have just joined a league in the north east and played their first two matches. The first they lost 13-0 and second 20-2, although they played the second and first winning teams from last seasons league. The coach is a bit lame! He asks them to stay back and not move forward. Not good at warm ups and training but hes doing it for free and its difficult to find another coach.

A. man they heavey results... keep the back line strait if ye have pace play a high line and try the offside rule. even if yer caught and cant catch the striker many forwards bottle it with such space in front of them as they have so many option. if ye do not have two midfielders who can pass the ball (but have one) play that midfielder in the middle of the pitch have yer runners out wide awaiting a pass. pull 1 striker back to giv yer wide plyrs options but try and encourage the wide plyr to the byline as if little else it will waste time nd keep the score lines down. your sincerly Tony Cousins manager Galway United good luck

A. Yahoo only allows one manager. You cannot swap. The only way your replacement manager is going to be able to access that team is through the other managers account. Try to contact him again or just let the team play without him.

What are the benefits of a Football team being in London?
Q. I can't see any positives. Do they even want a football team? Or is Goodell just trying to force a team over there to get extra money? A. They already had their own league, remember NFL Europe? I know it wasn't top notch football players, but it didn't work out. Its not realistic to have one team in Europe, they would have to get atleast 4 teams then it would throw off the divisions and schedule balance that they finally got right not too long ago. EDIT: They got 84,000 fans because its a once a year game, that doesn't mean they would get that after 3 full season either. If their team is really bad and goes 4-28 the first 2 years will they still show up without their team having any history for the fans to hang on to?

A. It is very important because when you are playing at home, you have thousands of people Cheering you own and booing the other team. teams that play at home are usually more confident. besides sometimes the referee gives a little advantage to the home team b/c he's scared of the supporters.

A. Boy, I really just want to say "your starters are good but your depth lacks", but to be helpful I suppose we ought to delve into it a bit. Palmer is the 2nd best QB - I typically stay away from drafting QBs that high, but as it turns out you did just fine. Westbrook is a legit #1 RB and Edge is a solid #2. Good to fill the RB/WR spot with a RB in Barber, but if you hadnt drafted Palmer you could have say Benson in that spot. But no matter, not bad all the same. Walker and Williams are good recievers, I would consider both of them good #2 WR, but that averages out to be a pretty good recieving core. I think Winslow is the 2nd best TE when healthy. You did well to get a servicable backup in Graham as Winslow's currently on… [cont.]

A. Well, I would go with a team from near where you are from. If it's no where near a team, then root for the Washington Huskies, since they are near the Seahawks. Plus, they are usually good, although they have fallen on hard times recently. When they climb back to the top, people can't accuse you of being a bandwagon fan.
