A. His confession of the crime doesn't add up to all of the evidence of the crime scene. He will not tell how he killed her or how he entered the house. He claimed to drug her and there were no drugs in her system on the autopsy. He has studied Jon Benet's murder since 1996, he even wrote a college paper about her. He has not confessed unknown criminal information about the crime to show he did it. His wife claims he was never in CO , there is nothing to show he was there. He claims he took her home on Christmas.Mom and dad said they put her to bed at 10p.m. I think he is trying to settle for a softer punishment. I think he is trying to escape Thailand jail. I do not expect his DNA to match or his story. Too many holes so far!

A. The reason for the interview supposedly was the one year anniversary of when he was arrested and brought back from Thailand to Colorado. I saw the same interview and I agree with your observations. He was being evasive and trying to act like he was doing it for the greater good . I think he is trying to make a Martyr himself. A. Perhaps John Mark Karr is not the killer of Jon Benet. This case had more media attention than any other murder in the past decade. Karr looks like a Mr. Rogers wannabe and has a rap sheet that reads like a short story novel. He is guilty of some nasty stuff, of that I am sure. The Ramsey parents were the main focus of investigation for years because evidence suggested no broken entry and the hand written ransom note on Patsy's note pad. Maybe, Karr is confessing to this crime falsely in order to avoid facing charges in Thailand. If indeed he is the true killer of Jon Benet, every authority involved in the investigation of her murder is at fault for overlooking him if he was in their neighborhood at that time.

A. I didn't think he was doing it so much for the publicity but more as an escape from the prison of another country. He knew it would be an easier sentence for him in a Cushy U.S. Jail rather than one in Tiawan (SP?? sorry). They really should have thought this out a little more before they spent all that money and time going over there to get him. Why didn't they just run the DNA on him before he left and that would have saved alot of time, money and effort. What a waste!!! He only lied (confessed) to get out of that country. He doesn't deserve to be in our Jail system or our psychiatric facilities - I say send him back.

I would hope that he lives as long as possible so that his 300 pound cellmate Bubba could have his way with him for the rest of his life. A. Unfortunately, there is nothing legally that we can do right now, but it is time for a change. We need to be heard as one voice!! I guess I don't really know how to go about it, but we can start with those who are known offenders. Known offenders should not be able to leave the country, or the state as far as I am concerned! The problem that we are facing now, is that known convicted offenders still have too much freedom. I just found out that there is a known child predator (convicted twice, 1st degree) living inside the school zone in my community. I am outraged!
