Designed as the lexical companion to Wikipedia, the encyclopaedia project, Wiktionary has grown beyond a standard dictionary and now includes a thesaurus, a rhyme guide, phrase books, language statistics and extensive appendices. We aim to include not only the definition of a word, but also enough information to really understand it. Thus etymologies, pronunciations, sample quotations, synonyms, antonyms and translations are included. Wiktionary is a wiki, which means that you can edit it, and all the content is dual-licensed under both the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License as well as the GNU Free Documentation License. New Jersey (pronounced /nuː ˈdʒɜrzi/ ( listen)) is a state in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. It is bordered on the northeast by New York, on the southeast and south by the Atlantic Ocean, on the west by Pennsylvania and on the southwest by Delaware. New Jersey lies largely within the sprawling metropolitan areas of New York and Philadelphia. It is the most densely populated state in the United States. Inhabited by Native Americans for more than 2,800 years, the first European settlements in the area were established by the Swedes and Dutch in the early 1600s. The English later seized control of the region, naming it the Province of New Jersey, which was granted to Sir George Carteret and John Berkeley, 1st Baron Berkeley of Stratton as a colony. At this time, the name was taken from the largest of the British Channel Islands, Jersey. New Jersey was the site of several decisive battles during the American Revolutionary War. In the 19th century, factories in cities such as Paterson and Trenton helped to drive the Industrial Revolution. New Jersey's position at the center of the Northeast megalopolis, between Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C., fueled its rapid growth through the suburban boom of the 1950s and beyond. Today, New Jersey has the highest population density and the second highest median income of any state in the United States. Only Maryland has a higher median income. The Governor-Elect of New Jersey is Republican Chris Christie. From Wikipedia under the

Its got a lot of directions to choose from. * Vegas style casino nightlife * Sunny sandy seaside beach * Amusement rides and arcades on the boardwalk Perhaps a combination of them. I live in Edison, New Jersey and I have huge bags full of never worn clothes that still have the tags on them. I was wondering where near by (preferably in central Jersey) I can sell them to a thrift store and get decent money back. thanks! Asked by m j - Wed Apr 8 17:11:09 2009 - - 4 Answers - 1 Comments A. Thrift stores do not generally buy articles, they live off of your donations. You want a consignment shop, they will either buy your goods outright or enter a contract with you whereby they sell the goods keeping a percentage of the agreed upon selling price and giving you the rest. Check your local phone book. Answered by Celtic Dragon - Wed Apr 8 17:17:10 2009 What is the approximate cost of moving from Houston to New Jersey?
