Questions about New Roc City, New Rochelle?
Q. I'm going the 1st time tomorrow to do bowling and probably applebees after, how much should I take? Is there an age requirement after a certain time? What is parking charge? Is there any extra things or fees I should know about? Thanks!

A. Each game on a Saturday night is about 7.50 a person + a $4 shoe rental. Applebees is pretty basic in pricing but I think on Saturday nights they have something like a limit of $8 or $9 food minimun if you are 17 or younger and they will automatically add the 18% gratuity on the bill. If you are worried about the money there, there is a pizza parlor right on the corner of the street that may be cheaper for you. Also New Roc parking is $0.75 per hour. Don't forget to pay for parking because they will ticket you in a second. Always keep that receipt from the machine because sometimes they will ticket you even if you did pay, but if you can show the guy on the way out that you paid they will take the ticket away, but make you you have that… [cont.]

I want the twon to be SAFE, no crimes, and good schools. if you wanna help me, give me a name of a town that you recommend or choose from that list. What should I do with the landlord (ex) not trying to return security deposit to me?
Q. I am dealing with ex-landlord who has been trying every possible ways not returning security deposit. He has done that to other tenants at his properties, he knows all the loop holes of the court system that even if the tenants files small or civil claims against him, he know that it is really hard or impossible to get the money. He knows that we can't afford to hire a lawyer. Maybe one of the viewers here might become his tenants, if you are looking for renting in Hasbrouck Heights, Maywood or Rochelle Park in New Jersey. Can you travel in Rochelle Park, NJ and surrounding areas by relying on the public transportation alone?

A. don't get a tattoo at a chain of shops. it just seems soo sketchy! im from NJ and i've heard of this chain and know people who have gone there, and i haven't heard many good things about their art (i've heard its over-priced for the quality, and many people there are unprofessional and can be rude). usually minimums are somewhere between $50 and $100. don't bother calling to ask, that seems rude. go into the shop if ur planning on going there anyways, speak to the person you want to do u r tattoo, and have THEM tell you what they'd charge. i recommend going to broadway tattoo lounge in south amboy. awesome work, awesome shop. check it out.

How to get to New York City from New Jersey by bus?
Q. Going on a trip to NYC with friends at the end of Feb. Our group, and some other students are staying at a hotel in Rochelle park New Jersey. I THINK the bus we take is number 163, which is accross from the hotel. (Ramada Rochelle 375 West Passaic St) We want to go into the city before our shuttle bus does, and so we want to take the public transit. HOW early can we catch this bus? I was checking at the website, but I could not find hours of operation. I get different times everytime I put the information in. I have as early as 6:09am, 6:20am, 6:50am, 7:02am, but I also got times as 6:21, 6:49 and 7:05. Fare brought up 3.50 once, and then another time 4.40. Where can we buy a metro pass? Approx how long does it take to get into NYC? Thanks… [cont.]

A. Take bus route 163 directly from the hotel to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. The fare is $3.40 each, cash only. Metro Cards are not accepted on NJ Transit buses. I THINK the bus we take is number 163, which is accross from the hotel. (Ramada Rochelle 375 West Passaic St) We want to go into the city before our shuttle bus does, and so we want to take the public transit. HOW early can we catch this bus? I was checking at the website, but I could not find hours of operation. I get different times everytime I put the information in. I have as early as 6:09am, 6:20am, 6:50am, 7:02am, but I also got times as 6:21, 6:49 and 7:05. Fare brought up 3.50 once, and then another time 4.40. Where can we buy a metro pass? A. Take bus route 163 directly from the hotel to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. The fare is $3.40 each, cash only. Metro Cards are not accepted on NJ Transit buses. Q. My friend was murdered in a Rockford Illinois park in January of 2002. The case was unsolved and I have since lost all contact with people I knew from the area. I am searching online for information about the case but can't find anything. His name was Joshua C. Range, he was an 18 year old openly gay man, and they believed the murder was a hate crime. They had no suspects or anything last I heard. He was found stabbed in the face in a ditch in a Rockford Illinois park. He was from Rochelle, IL. Can you help me find the story online? My problems with driving is of course driving on I-95 and then finding my way through the city, not to mention parking. A. The only one that is actually in New York City is New York Penn Station. It's about a 10-15 mile walk from the Javitz Center. From Philly, train would be best if you're close to an Amtrak station. The only problem with driving is that you never know what kind of backup you'll have at the Lincoln Tunnel (which lets out in New York right next to where you're going).

Q. I mean for how many mistakes still you can pass? Is hitting a curb while parallel parking is automatic fail in NY state ?And is any one know how difficult is road test in New Rochelle,NY?

A. hitting a curb is not an automatic fail. i belive its 5 points for that since you would need to fix your parking.The main thing you need to do is show that your paying attention to your surrounds and 3 point park well anad dont exceed 25!

What do i need to know to pass a new york road test?
Q. i live in new rochelle NY and ive been learning to drive for a while now with a permit. i want to get my license as soon as possible so im considering just taking a 5 hour class instead of a drivers ed course that takes 3 months, so im sacrificing a full license at 17 yrs old which i can deal with i need to if i already know what do to pass a road test because why bother sitting through a class and paying a lot more money. i know i need to parallel park, turn, and i heard from friends that a broken U turn which i know this cant be it because its a 15 minute test or so. is there anything else that i should make sure im familiar with before i make my decision?
