Q. I have lived in South Texas (San Benito/Harlingen more specifically) fo a little over a year and still don't know the sights (other than South Padre Island). I have a friend from England who's coming to visit for the summer, and we are planning a week here in Texas before spending another 3 weeks in Southern California (where I previously lived for 10yrs). Aside from working and college, I haven't had much time to sight see, and I'm trying to keep the Englishman out of Mexico (or he might not come back).
