Searchin' (I Gotta Find a Man) Information
"Searchin' (I Gotta Find a Man)" is a dance song written by Ian Anthony Stephens, and a Top-Ten hit on the UK Pop and U.S. Dance/Disco charts for Hazell Dean in 1984. It was covered by Australian girl group Young Divas in 2007.
The song was recorded by Hazell Dean for her second album, Heart First. The single was initially released in 1983 and peaked at number seventy-six in the UK Singles Chart. After hitting the U.S. Dance charts, where it peaked at number eight,[1] it was re-issued in the UK in 1984 and managed to reach number six in the UK Singles Chart, becoming one of her most successful singles to date.[2]

Young Divas version
It was covered by Australian group Young Divas from their first album Young Divas. Dispensing with Dean's parenthetical subtitle, "Searchin'" was released as a single on 17 March 2007 and debuted and peaked at number forty in the ARIA Singles Chart. [4] The video premiered on the 24 February, and shows the girls dancing in a nightclub with men.
