I am not a worshipper of the trinitarian god, but I thought you all believed the same.?
Q. I thought Catholics believed in the same trinitarian god as baptists and other protestant religions? Why do those who consider themselves born again Christian, yet believe in the trinity, do not consider Catholics Christian?

A. I'm not Catholic but I certainly believe that Roman Catholicism is Christian. They believe in the trinity (only one God but in three parts... Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), that Jesus is God, born of a virgin, was crucified and died on the cross for our sins, was resurrected from the dead, is sitting at the right hand of God, and will some day return for his people, and will judge those who are not his people. While there are many other doctrines I disagree with in Catholicism they have the fundamentals rights. I feel that anyone that tries to say they are not Christians are walking on very thin ice...saying so could be considered blasmphemy of the Holy Spirit.
